BIO HK Convention
HKBIO (Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization) plans a biotech mega event (BIOHK) to accelerate Hong Kong to become an international innovation hub. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have postponed the BIOHK convention several times. We are delighted to inform you that BIOHK2021 will take place from the 28th to the 31st of December 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Biotechnology has witnessed a paradigm shift every two decades, starting with the US in the 1980s and Europe in the 2000s. As we enter the 2020’s, Asia is emerging as the world’s next biotech powerhouse. Biotechnology is a global industry and Asia will need a permanent site for hosting an international convention to facilitate its growth. Being Asia’s World City and a member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macau Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong is a perfect location to host this global mega biotech event, so the global biotech stakeholders have a permanent convention to meet every year in Asia.
BIOHK2021 convention comprises of three elements – an Expo, Conference, and One2One Partnering – bringing together stakeholders from the government (官), industry (产), academic (学), research (研), investment (投) and end-user (用). To ensure the success of BIOHK, we absolutely need your support. We would like to invite your organization to participate as a Sponsor / Supporting organization / Exhibitor / Attendant. Further details can be found on the convention website https://www.bio-hk.com.
PS. Simultaneous translation (English, Mandarin and Cantonese) will be provided throughout the 4 days convention. To ensure the safety of delegates. We will implement the most comprehensive measures to ensure all the participants are COVID-19 free.
